Our STORY

Built by a trucker for truckers.

Mr. James C. Smith, a seasoned American trucker, invented the No Excuse reverse lighting system in an airplane hangar in Carthage, Mississippi, driven by his passion for enhancing the everyday lives of fellow truck drivers. Drawing on his years of experience on the road, he recognized the challenges truckers face when navigating tight, poorly lit spaces, and set out to create a solution that truly meets their needs. The No Excuse lights are “built by a trucker for truckers,” embodying his commitment to safety and practicality. With their powerful illumination and innovative design, these lights transform the backing-up experience, making it easier and safer for drivers to maneuver their rigs in even the most daunting environments. Mr. Smith’s invention not only reflects his deep understanding of the trucking industry but also stands as a testament to his dedication to improving life on the road for his fellow truckers.
